Job Title: Admin & Facility Officer
Location: Lagos
Industry: Banking

A reputable banking institution is seeking a competent and highly organized Admin & Facility Officer to oversee the Bank’s administrative operations and manage all facility-related activities. This role is critical to ensuring that the Bank’s infrastructure, systems, and work environment remain safe, efficient, and fully operational at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all building-related activities including maintenance, repairs, and renovations
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative operations of the Bank
• Ensure the preservation and proper functioning of infrastructure, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and office equipment
• Conduct routine facility inspections to identify faults and implement corrective measures promptly
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules
• Supervise and coordinate activities of vendors, contractors, cleaning teams, and security personnel
• Manage service level agreements (SLAs) and ensure vendors meet performance standards
• Monitor utility consumption (power, water, etc.) and implement cost-control measures
• Ensure optimal use of equipment and resources to reduce operational expenses
• Maintain asset registers and track movement of office furniture, equipment, and tools
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
• Respond swiftly to facility-related emergencies and resolve issues with minimal disruption to operations
• Support space planning and allocation to ensure efficient use of office accommodation
• Manage office supplies, procurement requests, and inventory control
• Oversee fleet management (if applicable), logistics, and office support services
• Maintain accurate records of contracts, maintenance logs, and service reports
• Support budgeting and cost tracking for administrative and facility expenses
• Assist management with administrative reporting and documentation
• Ensure proper documentation and filing systems are maintained
• Support internal events, meetings, and workspace arrangements

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (minimum qualification with a 2.2) and must have completed NYSC
• Maximum age: 26 years
• Minimum of one (1) year relevant experience in facility management, administration, or related role
• Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and vendor coordination
• Good financial awareness with ability to manage and control costs
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate sound judgment
