- Maintenance of the Company IT systems/network standards and improving these
standards - Provide support in the management of the Company’s IT systems/network structures (PCs,
ports, switches, routers). - Effective Management of the Department’s systems/network to meet the Company’s
requirements consistently. - Provide support in the formulation of key company policies on networking.
- Provide support in securing the companies active directories and firewalls across the
outlets. - Ensure technical knowledge on systems repairs.
- Evaluate and recommend security improvements and system upgrades.
- Monitor network to ensure optimal performance.
- Create and maintain network users/permission.
- Test release of products to minimize user impact and ensure compatibility
- Liaise with clients on networking projects for the company.
- Carryout routine maintenance and repairs of system wares across outlets and locations
- Any other related duties that may be assigned from time to time by the IT Department
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- A degree in Computer science or a related field.
- CCNA certification will be an added advantage.
- 3 years’ experience in a systems administrative role.
- Previous experience with Microsoft Window Server 2008, 2012 and 2016 preferred.
- Previous experience with Cisco/HP and/or Nokia switches and routers preferred.
