Job Title: Technical Sales Manager (Water Treatment Chemicals)
Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Salary: ₦350,000 – ₦400,000 Net + Other Incentives
Job Summary
The Technical Sales Manager will lead and drive the sales of water treatment chemicals and technical solutions by combining strong technical expertise with strategic sales leadership. The role is responsible for managing key accounts, developing new business opportunities, and overseeing technical sales activities to achieve revenue and growth targets across industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities
•Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve company revenue and market expansion goals.
•Identify and develop new business opportunities within industrial, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, and oil & gas sectors.
•Manage key and strategic accounts and maintain long-term customer relationships.
•Provide technical leadership by recommending appropriate water treatment and chemical solutions based on customer process requirements.
•Conduct water analysis, system audits, and performance reviews for clients’ water treatment systems (boilers, cooling systems, and wastewater).
•Work closely with production, laboratory, logistics, and operations teams to ensure effective service delivery.
•Prepare, submit, and follow up on quotations, tenders, and technical proposals.
Job Requirements
B.Sc in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Biochemistry, or any related field.
•Minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in technical sales within the water treatment, chemical manufacturing, or industrial chemical sector.
•Strong technical knowledge of water treatment systems and chemicals.
•Excellent communication, negotiation, and client management skills.
•Must be willing and able to travel as required.
